COURSE DESCRIPTION
Numbers in Practice Proportion II: The Eternal Grace of Geometric Proportioning focuses on traditional geometric, arithmetic, and harmonic ratio methods of applying number in architectural design. Proportional aspects of Greco-Roman and Renaissance archetypal designs will be illustrated through slides and demonstrations. Student will apply the methods of proportion through in-class sketch problems using the Beaux Arts esquisse format
